Auto-rickshaw driver murdered over trivial issue

Bengaluru, NT Buruea: Subramanyapura Police are on the lookout for a person who is on the run after allegedly killing his elder brother's friend in the city.

The deceased was identified by the police as Ganesh, 43, an autorickshaw driver who had moved into his friend Mallesh's house in Sarvabhouma Nagar in Bengaluru. However Mallesh's younger brother, Narayan was unhappy with Ganesh and had on several occasions warned him to move out of his brother's house.

Around 2 am on Monday, Narayan got furious after seeing Ganesh again at his brother's house. Taking advantage of Mallesh' absence, Narayan picked a fight with Ganesh and in the ensuing scuffle allegedly smashed his head with an iron rod.

The police inspected the spot and have registered a murder case against the accused.
