Kolar, NT Bureau: Kolar Lok Sabha member S Muniswamy has lodged a complaint with the Governor of Karnataka against Bangarpet Legislator SN Narayanaswamy and Kolar Superintendent of Police M Narayan for having allelgedly insulted him and pushing him out of the venue during the Janatha Darshan program held at Kolar on Monday.

Muniswamy accompanied by BJP MLC Chalavdhi Narayanaswamy and some BJP functionaries met the Governor at Bengaluru on Wednesday and lodged his complaint.

As reported, Muniswamy and Bangarpet Congress Legislator Narayanaswamy were engaged in a verbal duel. As the situation was going out of hand, Kolar SP M Narayan intervened and tried to persuade Muniswamy to leave the venue.

He was later forced out of the venue by the Superintendent of Police. Following this Muniswamy levelled charges against the district administration and said that he was prevented from speaking at the function for the simple reason that he is a ‘Dalit.’

Muniswamy said he would take up the issue with the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and move a privilege motion against the Kolar SP.

He also alleged that Kolar DC Akram Pasha is acting as an agent of the Congress party and the law and order situation has collapsed in the district.
