Bengaluru: As the Outer Ring Road in Bengaluru got choked due to massive traffic on Wednesday due to the long holiday break, the video of a pizza delivery boy from Domino's giving away pizza boxes to a slow moving car went viral on X (previously Twitter) after it was posted by a user @rishivaths.

It was learnt that the user had ordered a pizza while he was stuck in the traffic jam. To his amazement, the pizza was delivered to him on the spot.

The delivery executive had tracked his location and found him stuck in the jam! News Trail caught up with Rishivaths MS, who is employed at Shopsy by Flipkart.

What was planned by four people to attend a colleague's ceremony in Mahadevapura, took a frustrating turn due to traffic. Their vehicle was stuck 200m from the exit of the ETV Campus.

"One of my friends Sruthi was very hungry and knowing that we would be late for dinner, she wanted to have food on the go," he told News Trail.

The friends tried to get pizzas from Domino's through the mobile phone app. "We added a nearby location in the traffic and luckily we were just a few metres away from it," he added.

Soon arrived 22 -year old Nilay Nima who hails from Tripura, to deliver the pizzas. "We were amazed that they were kind enough to deliver even during such a massive congestion." Rishivaths added.

According to the manager of the branch, Nilay was happy and overwhelmed by the response and praise he received after the video went viral.

Traffic on several roads including the Outer Ring Road was severey hit with people from IT companies taking hours to reach their destinations.
