Q: Prashanth, it's quite intriguing how you transitioned from being a businessman to an actor. Can you share how a businessman like you ended up pursuing a career in acting?

A: Prashanth Sambargi: Well, in my college days, like many teenagers, I had dreams of entering the glamorous world of showbiz. It all started when I participated in a fashion show and walked the ramp.

People appreciated my body language and looks, and that's when I thought modeling might be a suitable career path for me. I even took part as a contestant in Mr. Galadrags in 1998, where I found out that I was ranked 25th out of 160 models.

Although I didn't win, my classmates started calling me a "hero," which fueled my dream of becoming an actor. However, due to middle-class family values and limited exposure, it remained just a dream for a long time.

Q: Speaking of your career, do you believe that acting has brought you more recognition compared to your work as a film producer?

A: Prashanth Sambargi: Absolutely, acting has indeed brought me more recognition than my work as a film producer. In the film industry, producers and financiers often work behind the scenes and receive less recognition.

However, after participating in "Bigg Boss Kannada" and gaining recognition, I began to rethink my career and decided to pursue my dream of becoming an actor.

Q: You've been one of the few contestants who participated in two seasons of "Bigg Boss Kannada." How has this experience in reality television changed you personally and professionally?

A: Prashanth Sambargi: Participating in "Bigg Boss Kannada" was a transformative experience for me, both personally and professionally. It allowed me to connect with a wide audience and gain recognition.

Personally, it helped me gain more self-confidence and exposed me to a diverse range of people and experiences. Professionally, it opened doors in the entertainment industry and reignited my passion for acting.

Q: Given your journey and newfound recognition, do you believe you can leave a significant mark as an actor in the world of movies?

A: Prashanth Sambargi: Yes, I'm confident that I can leave a mark as an actor in the world of movies. My unique voice and looks give me a distinct personality that can contribute to the industry.

Post "Bigg Boss," I've already had the opportunity to act in two movies: one where I play a cop in "Vidhyaarthi Vidayarthini," and the other as a scientist in "Mr. E." These experiences have reinforced my belief in my acting abilities and my potential to make a significant impact.

Q: It's great to hear about your confidence and your journey into acting. Could you tell us more about your acting journey so far and any upcoming films or projects you're excited about?

A: Prashanth Sambargi: My acting journey has been quite exciting so far. As I mentioned, I've already acted in two movies after Bigg Boss, "Vidhyaarthi Vidayarthini" and "Mr. E," where I play intriguing roles.

As for upcoming projects, I'm in discussions for several exciting opportunities, and I'm eagerly looking forward to sharing more about them as they develop. It's an exhilarating time for me, and I'm excited to see where my acting career takes me in the future.
