
Inclusive politics key for good governance, says CM at Bearys Souharda Bhavana

Bengaluru: The Bearys Welfare Association, Bengaluru inaugurated the newly opened Bearys Souharda Bhavana at HBR Layout in the city on 30 September.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the presence of the Speaker of Legislative Assembly, UT Khader. Following this, the BA Mohideen Memorial Auditorium was also inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar.
The event was presided over by the Bearys Welfare Association President, BM Farookh MLC. Dy CM, DK Shivakumar in his speech highlighted the fact of ‘Unity amongst the Muslims’ and called them a responsible community.
He said, “ The Beary Community shares love and compassion to society which is truly outstanding”.
He also added by saying, “ We will all be non-existent one day but good deeds rendered to society by the Bearys Bhavana will never perish”. The Chair man Beary Souharda Bhavana Building, Syed Mohamed Beary, appealed to the CM and Dy CM on the platform and said that the role of Muslims in the formation of the government is huge.
“Every time there are four to five ministers from the Muslim community in the government formation. But this time only two ministerial seats have been given. Again, during the formation of the Mantri Mandal, the community should be given at least three more ministerial seats”, the Chairman exclaimed.
The CM spoke on the significance of the welfare association and their genuine contributions towards society. He said in his speech, “ All the five schemes launched by the Congress government are in favour of its people without any bias or discrimination. Likewise the Beary Association has also done exceptional work to the society with love and compassion. We will continue to support the welfare association”.
In his inauguration speech, he also added by saying, “At any point in time, we should not oppose the constitution. The congress remains secular in its approach and will strongly keep up its assurance in support of the minorities. As long as congress is in power, people especially the minority Muslims, Christians, SC\STs Hindus are in safe hands.Only when there is peace and unity will any country or society move forward”.
In continuation with his detailed speech, he questioned the opposition party on its negative outlook towards the Muslims,Christians and other minorities. “Does the Constitution of India promote hatred? There is no way in the future the Congress Party will ever make an alliance with the BJP”, he said.
