Woman arrested for attacking mobile phone technician

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A woman was arrested by Sampigehalli Police on Wednesday for allegedly carrying a deadly assault on a mobile phone technician in the city.

The accused was identified as Sadiya, a resident of Hegde Nagar. According to the police, her husband has a rowdy-sheet opened against him in Bengaluru.

Sources from the police said that Sadiya operated along with a gang who are often involved in mobile phone theft. The stolen mobile phones were formatted with the help of technicians.

Recently, Sadiya had approached the victim, identified as Imran Khan, who had earlier flashed a mobile phone on her request.

However when Sadiya got more mobile phones with her, Khan refused to format them stating that he would get into trouble.
