
Spotted a heart-shaped traffic light in Bengaluru? Here is what it means
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Manipal Hospitals, in collaboration with the City Traffic Police (BTP), launched the first phase of the 'Guardian of the Heart 2.0' campaign on Monday.
This initiative involved providing CPR training and certifications to 40 traffic police personnel in Bengaluru.
The event also highlighted the significance of incorporating heart-shaped symbols into approximately 40 traffic signals in the city, along with the inclusion of SOS QR code signage at each of these signals.
Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic , M N Anucheth, spoke at the event and emphasised that the transfor mation of traffic lights into heart shapes serves the purpose of encouraging people to wait patiently until the signal tur ns green.
He stressed the importance of patience and responsible behaviour at traffic signals.
