Bengaluru: In the wake of the recent inauguration of the Challaghatta Metro Station, daily commuters now have a reason to rejoice. Located in the heart of the city, this new station is already winning the hearts of passengers who are pleased with the services it offers.
Previously, the metro route was limited to Kengeri Metro Station. However, the extension of the route is proving to be a game-changer for the residents.
One local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, shared his experiences of daily cab and auto rides before the station's opening. He expressed his joy at the convenience brought by the newly constructed station, which is now serving the area exceptionally well.
Manish, a recent graduate of Rajrajeshwari Medical College, shared his view with News Trail; he said, "This development has been a good policymaking."
He emphasised how college students are now reaping the benefits of this new station. In the past, they had to rely on the Kengeri bus stand, which not only consumed more time but also added to their expenses. Manish, who recently completed his medical studies, pointed out the importance of saving money for undergraduate students.
The Challaghatta Metro Station has effectively resolved its commuting challenges, as it is now just a stone's throw away from Rajrajeshwari Medical College.
Additionally, the station is expected to create a sub-economic zone, offering commuters access to necessities such as street food, bike and cycle parking, tea, and coffee.
