MLA JT Patil's PA accused in transfer scam

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A complaint has been filed with the city police against Bilagi MLA's personal assistant over 'cash-for-transfer' allegations.

Ka Hidayath, personal secretary of the Health and Family Welfare minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, has registered a complaint against Prakash Bilagi, PA to MLA Jagadish Timmanagouda Patil, at Vidhana Soudha Police Station in Bengaluru.

In his complaint, Hidayath claimed to have found several irregularities while reviewing several transfer requests submitted by Prakash. He further accused Prakash of blackmailing him and harassing his staff during his absence at the office.

It is said that earlier a letter was sent to the Speaker from MLA JT Patil's office allegedly expressing displeasure about Hidayath.
