Person arrested for using counterfeit letterheads of a minister

Bengaluru: The Vidhana Soudha police arrested a person for allegedly using a fake letterhead of a minister and misusing it. The arrested was identified as Mahadev, the police said.

It was alleged that Mahadev had written recommendation letters to the managing director of the Adi Jambava and Bhovi Development Corporation using a fake letterhead of Social Welfare Minister H C Mahadevappa.

Following this, the minister’s personal secretary lodged a complaint with the police. Further investigation is underway, the police added.
