
State Intel Dept opens cutting-edge training academy

Bengaluru: In a strategic move to enhance national security and effectively combat anti-social elements, the State Intelligence Department has officially unveiled the 'Rajya Guptawarte Training Academy' (State Intelligence Training Academy) at Hulimavu here.
According to police sources, this state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing training for police officers and personnel working within the State Intelligence Department.
Built on a land spread across 4.30 acres in Bengaluru using an allocation of five crores from the state government, the academy is one of a kind in the country.
The academy features advanced training rooms, extensive grounds, comfortable rest areas, residential quarters, and a well-equipped canteen, in the premises.
It stands as an intelligence training institution within the state police department, catering to the training requirements of State Intelligence Department personnel and district-level intelligence officers.
Seasoned police officers and subject matter experts will deliver instruction on crucial topics, such as covert information gathering, advanced information collection methods, and technology utilisation.
