Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Prominent stand-up comic Nishant Suri's gig in Bengaluru on Friday, October 13, was cancelled due to claimed non-payment by the event organisers leaving fans wondering over the dependability of such shows with this being the second cancellation of a comedy concert in the city in a month.

The Comicstaan contestant posted on his Instagram that "The show had to be cancelled as the org anisers hadn't made the payment and had gone to the extent of sending me a forged screenshot of the money transfer.”

He also stated that the event organisers ghosted him by not returning his calls. Recently, renowned international comedian Trevor Noah also had to cancel his Bengaluru gig.
