Shivakumar vows to set up local veterinary hospital

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In an unusual development, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has vowed to set up a veterinary hospital In Soladevanahalli locality upon a request made by Kannada actress Leelavathi and her son Vinod Raj.

Shivakumar said that Leelavathi was very fond of animals and caring for them was a hobby of hers. So she had requested a date for the inaugura - tion of the hospital.

The duo also submitted certain applications for land registration. The Deputy CM said that she had requested Vinod Raj to visit him the next time since his mother was a senior citizen.

“I have given them my word on this. I’ve told them to send Vinod Raj alone next time since she has health issues,” Shivakumar said.
