Armed men try to loot jewellery store in B'gavi

NT Correspondent, Belagavi: After Bengaluru, a jewellery shop owner in Shahapur, Belagavi was attacked by two armed assailants who tried to loot the valuables.

However the shop owner's timely action foiled the bid. Prashant Bhagwant Konarao, the jeweller, had just opened his shop when the two men entered.

One of them hit the owner on his head with his revolver. The victim started screaming and tried to fight off the assailants. The accused ran away as they feared a crowd would gather.
