Bengaluru: The Karatagi-Yeshwantpur Express train derailed on Tuesday morning after the locomotive went off the tracks near the Karatagi railway station.

Fortunately, the alert loco pilot immediately brought the train to a halt. According to sources, the incident occurred when the train was coming from Yeshwantpur to Karatagi.

The train was moving slowly as it was entering the railway station when the locomotive went off the tracks. The loco pilot immediately brought the train to a halt, thus averting a disaster and saving the passengers.
