Bengaluru: Minister for Information and Technology (IT) and Bio-Technology and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Priyank Kharge on Thursday sought to set an example for elected representatives by taking Namma Metro to attend an event.
Kharge boarded the Metro’s Purple Line at the Vidhana Soudha stop and deboarded at the Nallurhalli stop near Whitefield where the event was being held.
The event in question was the inaugural day of the UNFOLD 2023 programme that focused on web3 or the next generation of decentralized internet services and blockchain or the record of transactions of crypto-currency maintained in a peer-to-peer network.
The minister also took the Metro back from Nallurhalli to the Vidhana Soudha.
