
Parking restrictions by BTP for WC matches

Bengaluru: Ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup matches that are going to be held in the city, Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has issued a traffic advisory for vehicle movement and parking restrictions from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the following days.
As per the notification, a large number of people are expected at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on October 20 and 26, and November 4, 9 and 12, parking of fourwheelers and two-wheelers has been restricted on Queens Road, MG Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Central Street, Cubbon Road, St Marks Road, and Museum Road as well as Kasturba Road, Dr BR Ambedkar Road, Lavelle Road, Vittal Mallya Road, and Nrupathunga Road in the city.
The commuters can instead use alternative parking places such as Kings Road, BMTC Shivajinagar Bus Station 1st Floor, or UB City Parking Lot. The BTP has requested the commuters to cooperate with the arrangements made.
