
Ex-corporator GK Venkatesh arrested by CCB
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A former BBMP corporator was arrested by the Central Crime Branch sleuths for allegedly kidnapping a contractor over financial matters in the city.
GK Venkatesh, a former corporator of Yeshwanthpur ward in the city, was arrested based on a complaint filed by a contractor named Chandru.
In his complaint to the police, the victim had alleged that he had received a contract from the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and was working in the area when the accused started creating trouble asking him to stop the work.
