Docu on Palestinian resistance screened in B'luru

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: "5 Broken Cameras" is a compelling documentary that sheds light on the Palestinian resistance and the recent acts of ethnic cleansing by the state of Israel.

A screening of this film was organised by the All India Student Association (AISA) Karnataka, attracting about 25 to 30 students to Infantry Road, Shivajinagar.

The documentary follows Emad Burnat, a Palestinian farmer who documented the Palestinian struggle using five different cameras over several years in the West Bank village of Bil'in.

The film exposes the challenges faced by the Palestinian people and the controversial actions of the Israeli settler-colonizer state, including the expansion of illegal settlements and displacement of Palestinian families.

The screening underscores growing awareness and solidarity among Indian youth with the Palestinian cause.
