Ganduli ready for release

Senior artiste Sudha Narasimharaju is to appear on the silver screen after a long gap. Sudha is the daughter of late veteran Sandalwood artiste Narasimharaju. Sudha plays a mother character in Kannada movie Ganduli that is ready for release. Vinay Ratnasiddi and Chaya Devi are the lead pair in Ganduli. Apart from playing the lead role, Vinay has handled the megaphone while Amarendra, Puneeth, Lokesh Rajanna and Chandana are the producers for this movie. In 2017, Vinay had acted and directed Kannada movie Engineers that narrated techies’ lifestyle in Bengaluru.

Vinay says Ganduli is a love story set against a village backdrop. “I am confident of its success at the box office. It was ready more than a year ago and its theatrical release has been delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic. I am planning to release Ganduli in a few weeks,’’ says Vinay.

Sudha Narasimharaju has said that she was very happy to act in this movie that narrates the problems of a philanthropic family that is ever ready to help needy people. “I played the hero’s mother in the movie. All the artistes have worked hard during the shooting of this movie,’’ says Sudha Narasimharaju.

The movie is about how the hero exposes anti-social elements working against villagers’ welfare. Vinay’s another movie “Premam” is also ready for release.

'Anger' audio released

Mysuru lad Manvith makes debut as a hero with Kannada movie Anger. The audio of “Anger” was released at Renukamba Mini Theater at Malleswaram in Bengaluru. Manvith had a basic training in acting at Rangayana, a theater institute in Mysuru.

“I play an angry young man character. The movie conveys a message to society on the disadvantages of anger. The movie Anger has all elements, including romance and crime and sentiment, to entertain the audiences. I hope Kannada movie buffs encourage and support me,’’ says Manvith.

Nataraj Rangayana has directed this movie. “In this movie, the hero is a short-tempered person. He faces a lot of problems for being a quick-tempered person. How the heroine transforms him into an amiable person is the climax of the movie. Its shooting was held in and around Mysuru and Mandya,’’ says Nataraj Rangayana.

Punya Gowda plays opposite Manvith in this movie that has seven songs. Shashank Seshagiri is one of the playback singers while Vijay Harithasa has scored music. The audio of the movie was released by Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce vice president Umesh Banakar and Kannada activist Rupesh Rajanna.

'Gajanana & Gang' trailer out

Meghana Raj, the wife of Chiranjeevi Sarja, has released the trailer of the movie “Gajanana & Gang”. “I have agreed to release the trailer of this movie since my favorite artiste Adithi Prabhudeva is the heroine in this movie. I am impressed with the trailer of Gajanana & Gang. I wish all the best to the cast and crew of this movie. Mahadev who played the lead role in this movie has acted along with me in the Kannada movie Iruvudellava Bittu released in 2018,’’ said Meghana Raj.

As its title suggests, the movie is based on college life. Mahadeva has played a role that has two shades while Adithi Prabhudeva has played the role of a girl from a middle class family. Abhisekh Shetty, apart from handling the megaphone, has played a character role in this movie.
