Drunk man crushed to death by train

Bengaluru: A 40-year-old drunk person who went to relieve himself near the tracks died after he was struck by an incoming train near Heelalige Railway station in Anekal.

The deceased was identified by the Railway Police as Ramu, a resident of Hebbagodi.

The incident took place on Tuesday night when Ramu along with a few friends was having a booze party at an isolated place around 20 meters away from the train tracks, the police said.
