Bengaluru: Kothanur police apprehend a dog owner for igniting a scooter and another motorcycle following a dog attack complaint by a woman.
These motorcycles were the property of Pushpa, a woman who had previously filed a complaint against both the man and his pet dog on October 23.
The individual in question, Nanjunda Babu, who resides in Kothanur, is alleged to have set fire to the two motorcycles. Pushpa reported the incident to the Kothanur Police Station, leading to Babu's arrest.
Prior to this incident, Pushpa had filed a complaint against Nanjunda Babu's pet dog, which had purportedly bitten her, as reported by the media. Babu is said to have threatened Pushpa following her complaint against his dog.
Interestingly, Pushpa and the suspect were reportedly involved in a chit-fund business, with Pushpa refusing to pay the chit-fund dues, claiming she had incurred expenses for medical treatment due to the dog bite.
The motorcycles were completely consumed by the fire, and the Kothanur police arrested the pet owner and took up further investigation.
