Fire breaks out at B'luru Haj Bhavan
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A fire broke out at the Haj Bhavan in Thanisandra near Yelahanka in Bengaluru on Saturday with early estimates putting the losses at Rs 2 crores.
The flames are said to have erupted as a result of a short circuit around 5 pm in the evening but the cause is yet to be determined. A fire brigade arrived shortly thereafter and tried to extinguish the flames.
A thick plume of smoke hovered over the building until past 6 pm.
Authorities said that there had been no deaths or injuries as a result of this accident, adding that the crisis had been averted. The help of cops was also elicited to extinguish the fire.
