Bengaluru: The Pulikeshinagar police have apprehended the individuals involved in the tragic incident that unfolded on Pottery Road, resulting in the death of Syed Asghar and injury to his friend, Mujahid.

Asghar, a Gujari trader, met a fatal end when an altercation over money turned dire. T

he dispute stemmed from a financial transaction between Asghar and the accused, Amin, involving the purchase of a car worth four lakhs, which was not returned even after eight months.

The conflict escalated when Asghar, having filed a complaint at JC Nagar police station under Section 307, refused to withdraw the case despite pressure from the accused.

In a cunning attempt to settle the matter, the accused lured Asghar to Pottery Road under the guise of a discussion. However, Asghar, accompanied by his friend Mujahid, stood firm in not retracting the case.

Upon leaving the location, tragedy struck as the accused, following them in a Scorpio car, deliberately rammed into Asghar while he was dismounting his bike, inflicting fatal injuries and causing harm to Mujahid.

Initially misconstrued as a mere accident by the traffic police, the truth came to light during Mujahid's statement, revealing the premeditated nature of the attack.

The accused aimed to stage the incident as an accidental collision, attempting to abscond from the scene.
