Bengaluru: In an effort to swiftly address the issues faced by the public, Minister of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, as well as Bengaluru Rural District In-charge Minister KH Muniyappa, has directed officials to expedite the resolution of complaints lodged during the Janata Darshan programme within a month.
The Janata Darshan initiative serves as a vital platform for citizens to submit various grievances, eliminating the need for daily visits to government offices.
During the programme inaugurated at Babu Jagjeevan Ram Bhawan in Doddaballapur taluk, the Minister stressed the importance of prompt resolution, excluding cases entangled in court proceedings, focusing on solving the rest within a stipulated one-month timeframe.
Addressing environmental concerns, the Minister responded to distressing reports of factory waste contaminating Nagarakere and Bashettihalli lakes in Doddaballapur.
Additionally, he announced the approval for the construction of a district hospital in Doddaballapur.
Dheeraj Muniraju, MLA of Doddaballapur, emphasized the urgency of prompt responses from taluk-level officials in resolving public issues.
