Bengaluru: After the passage of the Anti-conversion bill in the State Assembly on Thursday, former CM and veteran BJP leader, B.S.Yediyurappa left on a three-day trip to Dubai.

According to sources, he sat throughout the session since the morning and left the House only after the Speaker announced the passing of the much-debated bill. The former CM did not go to the hotel for lunch and had it at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha itself. He left for Hubballi after the bill was passed in the lower house.

Yediyurappa is likely to arrive in Bengaluru late night and embark on the Dubai tour tomorrow. He usually goes on a foreign jaunt every year to spend time with his family members. Last year, he had gone to Maldives for a week. This time, he has selected Dubai to be away from the hustle-bustle of political life in the state.
