Man deliberately struck and killed by SUV in JC Nagar

Bengaluru: A horrific incident occurred on October 20 when a man, identified as Asghar, was intentionally mowed down by an SUV in JC Nagar, an event captured in a video reminiscent of a movie scene.
However, the details of this brutal murder have only recently come to light. Two individuals, including one named Amreen, have been apprehended in connection with the case.
The CCTV footage from October 20 revealed the sequence of events, exposing the mystery behind Asghar's murder. Asghar was involved in the second-hand car business and had prior interactions with Amreen.
The other suspect in the murder had purchased an SUV from Asghar, leading to a dispute over an outstanding amount of Rs 4 lakh. The disagreement escalated to physical assault, prompting Asghar to report the incident to the JC Nagar police under Section 307 of the IPC.
Subsequently, the accused attempted to coerce Asghar into withdrawing the case, reaching out to him by phone. Amreen, accompanying the other suspect, also urged Asghar to retract his complaint.
However, Asghar remained steadfast in his decision not to withdraw the case under any circumstances. Asghar met with Amreen and later dropped off a friend on Pottery Road.
It was during this moment that Amreen purposefully rammed Asghar's bike with a Mahindra Scorpio, striking him down on the road before making a hasty escape. Asghar succumbed to his severe injuries, while his friend sustained significant harm to his limbs.
Initially, the traffic police had categorized the incident as a mere accident. However, the truth emerged after recording the statement of Asghar's friend. Consequently, two individuals, including Amreen, have been taken into custody in connection with this shockng crime.
