Prefer not to speak: DKS on Siddu's 'CM for 5 years' comment
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Thursday gave a tight-lipped reply to CM Siddaramaiah’s comment that the latter would continue in his post for five years.
When asked by mediapersons about what he made of Siddaramaiah’s comments, he said that it was imprudent for him to speak about the issue in public.
"I won’t speak about this issue openly. I only know how to obey the party’s stand,” he said.
Siddaramaiah had made the remarks on his official visit to Hospet town in Vijayanagara district. MLAs and ministers in the camps of both leaders have been either pushing for Shivakumar to become the CM after five years or for Siddaramaiah to stay as the head of government for the full term.
