
KSRTC partners with Jayadeva for employee cardiac issues

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has signed a significant five-year agreement with the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology and Research.
Under this partnership, 10 different types of cardiac medical examinations will be conducted for all KSRTC employees. KSRTC has taken this proactive step in response to the prevalence of cardiovascular ailments tending to be higher among drivers, conductors, and other personnel aged 40 and above.
Presently, KSRTC has boosted its workforce of 34,000 individuals, encompassing 24,686 drivers and conductors, as stated in an official release. Transport Minister of Karnataka, Ramalinga Reddy highlighted the importance of this collaboration.
