BBMP to digitize asset certificates

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In a move to curb corruption and avoid delays in work, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has introduced a special campaign to digitize property records recently.

The certificates, categorised as 'A' Khata and 'B' Khata, are being digitized by Assistant Revenue Officers (AROs) across eight zonal offices.

This comes after the order issued by Bengaluru Development and Urban Planning Minister D K Shivakumar.
