CM hosts lunch for officials

Mysuru, NT Bureau: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday hosted a lunch for officials to celebrate the success of the Dasara festival.

The united efforts of all officials of all departments and their dedicated service are the main reasons for the success, he said addng that officials must focus on Mysuru's development by giving it utmost priority.

The chief mi nister also asked the officials to prepare a blueprint for overall development of the city as it did not witness much development work in the last five years.

Remembering the contributions of Nalwadi K rishnaraja Wadiyar for the overall growth of Mysuru in the field of education, irrigation and social welfare, he said that Mysuru must see much more developmental work during his term.

Officials must give top priority to education, health, rural development and social welfare to make Mysuru number one in the implementation of developmental works, he added.

In his keynote address, district minister Dr H C Mahadevappa wanted the officials to make the best efforts for implementation of government sponsored schemes by taking schemes to people's doorstep.
