No lessons learnt from BBMP?

Bengaluru: People ran for cover as rain hit the city on Monday. The downpour led to various traffic disruptions and waterlogging issues across different areas.
Several motorists stopped under flyovers and bus stops for shelter. It's evident that BBMP has not learned any lessons from previous spells of rain in the city.
At MMT Junction to K. R Pura Railway Station and RM Nagar signal on the tin factory side of Kasturi Nagar ring road, vehicular traffic slowed down as rain poured at the R Pura Sanchar Thana border.
There was waterlogging at Banasawadi Main road (Opp Jai Bharath Nagara petrol bunk), hitting vehicular movements, and cooperation from commuters was requested.
Kasturinagar on ORR road experienced heavy rain, resulting in waterlogging. Traffic police were seen going out of their way and unclogging stormwater drains in response to the situation.
At Vidya Shilpa underpass service road, traffic diversion was implemented due to waterlogging, particularly at Kogilu junction. Slow-moving traffic persisted near Kalyananagara 80 feet road, close to Kalyan Nagar under the bridge.
The heavy rainfall in the city caused flooding near Benniganahalli Metro Station, contributing to traffic congestion along that stretch. Several other areas also reported waterlogging and traffic congestion owing to the rain.
