Man sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting his 5-year-old daughter

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A man who sexually assaulted his 5-year-old daughter has been given 20 years jail time.

The incident allegedly happened when no one was at home and compensation of Rs 6 lakh to the victim in addition to the jail time has been given by the childfriendly 1st Additional District and Sessions Court.

The accused has been identified as the father of the victim Syed Muzammil (45) the mother of the child is the third wife of the accused.

A charge sheet was filed at the Chamarajanagar police station and the verdict of 20 years prison and 6 lakh compensation was given after a detailed hearing.
