Wipro likely to skip pay hikes for top performers: Report

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Wipro is considering excluding "top performers with higher compensation" from receiving salary hikes in its largest business line during the December salary revision, as mentioned in an internal memo reported by Reuters.

According to the report, this decision comes amidst various challenges faced by India's fourth-largest software services exporter, including weak client spending and intense competition from larger rivals.

Nagendra Bandaru, managing partner and president of the "Enterprise Futuring" business line, communicated to employees through an email as per the report: “We are doing a selective MSI (merit salary increases) rollout based on our business affordability.”
