Rowdy sheeter hacked to death by rival gang
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A 32-year-old person was hacked to death by a gang of five to six members in Puttenahalli Police Station limits in the city on Wednesday night.
The police identified the deceased as Sahadeva, a resident of the same area. However, the police said that he had a rowdy sheet opened against him at Konanakunte Police Station in Bengaluru.
The police said that the incident took place around 9:30 pm on Wednesday on Chunchanakatte Main Road when Sahadeva was heading towards a bakery to have some tea.
It was revealed that the gang arrived in three separate two-wheelers and surrounded Sahadeva. They brutally assaulted him with machetes and fled the spot.
A severely injured Sahadeva died on the spot. The police sent his body to Victoria Hospital and have taken up a case against the assailants.
