Minor girl gangraped in Maddur

Mysuru, NT Bureau: A minor girl was allegedly gangraped by three persons including two minors, at Maddur in Mandya district.

The girl was allegedly taken to a lodge in Maddur and was raped by the three accused who also filmed the incident and blackmailed the survivor.

The incident which happened on November 4 came to light on Friday when the survivor girl fell into depression and complained to her parents that the three accused were pestering her to come whenever they asked her to after sending the filmed incident to her mobile phone.

The accused also threatened the girl to kill her if she revealed the incident her parents. Based on a complaint filed by the victim's girl’s mother, Maddur town police arrested the trio.

Two of them are minors including the prime accused. According to the police, the girl and the prime accused are doing their second PU course at a college in Mysuru.

The prime accused was in love with the girl and they had visited the recently held Yuva Dasara celebrations in Mysuru together. The prime accused who invited the girl to Maddur on November 4, allegedly raped her at a lodge near Maddur.

He also invited two of his friends to join him, said the complaint.
