JSS hospital staff take out walkathon

Mysuru: Hundreds of students, clinicians, nursing and administrative staff of JSS Hospital took out a walkathon in the city on Friday to raise awareness about the need for vaccination in adults along with promotion of preventive healthcare as part of World Immunization Day.

The event was flagged off by executive secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha Dr C.G. Betsurmath with president of the Mysuru Travels Association J P Urs.

The walkathon began from Dr Shivarathri Rajendra Circle, passed via Agrahara Circle and returned to JSS Hospital.

Nearly 250 students from JSS Medical College, JSS Nursing College, and JSS Pharmacy College participated in the event to spread awareness on vaccination by displaying various placards and banners.
