Shivanna and Dhanush starrer 'Captain Miller' set for Sankranti release
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The release date for the film "Captain Miller," featuring Dhanush and Shivarajkumar, has been officially declared as part of the Sankranti festival celebrations.
Originally expected to hit the screens in December, the film is now scheduled for a theatrical release on January 2, 2024, coinciding with the Sankranti festival.
Several South Indian films have already announced their release dates for this period, and "Captain Miller" has joined the lineup. Directed by Arun Madeshwaran, "Captain Miller" is one of the most high-budget films in Dhanush's career.
The teaser, which has already been released, has captured the audience's attention. The production team has informed that the film will be part of the Pongal 2024 releases.
"Captain Miller" is set against the backdrop of the 1930s and 1940s and is Shivarajkumar's second Tamil film after his stint as a jailor. The movie also features performances by Sandeep Kishan and Priyanka Arul Mohan.
Produced by T.G. Thyagarajan, Senthil Thyagarajan, and Arjun Thyagarajan, with music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, the film has cinematography by Siddharth and Sai Siddharth.
The project has seen the collaboration of renowned artists, including G. V. Prakash Kumar for music composition and Siddharth for cinematography.
The producers, G. Saravanan and S. Siddharth, have invested significantly in the film, while Sai Siddharth has handled the cinematography.
As the release date approaches, expectations are high for "Captain Miller" to make a significant impact during the festive season.
