Former reality show participant arrested for theft

Karwar: Bhaskar Siddi, a former contestant of Halli Haida Pyateg Banda Season 2, has been apprehended by the Yellapur police on charges of shop theft.

The arrest follows the recovery of Rs 14,300 from Bhaskar, who hails from Balegadde near Halavalli in Ankola taluk. Once a recognisable face from the reality show, Bhaskar was engaged in odd jobs, employed at Vishwas General Stores in Gullapura, Yellapur taluk.

The theft occurred two days ago, was captured by CCTV, leading to Bhaskar's arrest by the Yellapur police. He was subsequently presented before the court.
