Mysuru: Chamaraja Congress MLA K K Harishgowda has said the state government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is stable, and it cannot be easily toppled as all 136 Congress MLAs are united.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, he said both Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar have good understanding between them.

“Both opposition BJP and JD(S) will not succeed in their efforts of destabilising the state government by wooing Congress MLAs. In fact, several opposition BJP and JDS MLAs are willing to join Congress voluntarily.

“Many are also in touch with Congress leaders,” he said.

On upcoming Lok Sabha polls, he said the party has decided to give tickets to the winning candidate after conducting an internal survey across the constituency
