
Transgenders booked for robbing jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh

Bengaluru: Four transgenders were booked by the Madanayakanahalli Police for allegedly attacking a businessman and robbing him of jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh from him in the city, sources said on Sunday.
Based on a complaint filed by Manjesh, a resident of Begur, the police arrested four accused identified as Sahana, Manjula, Khushi and Rishika.
The incident took place around 11:30 pm on Saturday when the victim stopped on the highway (NH48) while driving towards Makali from Begur, Bengaluru.
As he got out of his car to urinate, four transgenders approached him and allegedly attacked him before stealing a bag, containing jewellery, from the car.
