Woman loses purse while travelling in Metro train

Bengaluru: A 51-year-old woman allegedly lost her purse containing documents and Rs 10,000 in cash while travelling in a metro train in the city, police said on Sunday.

The victim is a resident of Cambridge Layout near Halasuru in Bengaluru. The incident took place on Friday after the woman boarded a metro train to Kengeri from Halasuru on the Purple Line.

In her complaint, the woman expressed suspicion that her purse might have been been stolen when the train got crowded at the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Metro Station.

She said it was then that she noticed the zip on her handbag was open. Suspicious, she checked the bag and found her purse missing.
