Hotel worker attacked by muggers

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A hotel worker was allegedly robbed by two muggers while he was returning from his work in Pulakeshinagar on Sunday.

The victim was identified by the police as Manoj, a native of Assam. It was learnt that he was employed at a private hotel here. The incident occurred around 1:30 am on Sunday when Manoj was walking towards his rented accomodation.

Two men on a scooter approached him and allegedly assaulted him demanding that he hand over his mobile phone and cash. However as Manoj raised an alarm for help, the miscreants fled the spot.

Currently, the victim is getting treated at a private hospital for his injuries. After the complaint was filed, the Pulakeshinagar police visited the spot and registered a case.

Police are on the lookout to nab the miscreants.
