Presidency University gears up for its 6th convocation
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Presidency University in Bengaluru is set to host its sixth convocation on November 17 and 18, recognising the academic accomplishments of its graduates.
The ceremony aims to award the dedication exhibited by students across multiple disciplines who have successfully earned their degrees.
The event will be graced by the presence of Dr M.C. Sudhakar, the Minister of Higher Education, serving as the Pro-Visitor of Presidency University.
Dr Sudhakar will preside over the convocation, while the role of Chief Guest will be assumed by Rajat Dev Sehdev, the Managing Director of Accenture Security and Cyber Strategy Lead Growth Markets. Jasvinder Singh Khoral, the Programme Director of Space Infrastructure at ISRO, will be present at the convocation to share insights and motivate graduates with his contributions to space infrastructure.
The convocation will honour 39 gold medallists who have showcased exceptional academic skills in their respective fields.
A total of 3,684 undergraduate and postgraduate graduates, alongside 85 doctoral scholars, will be conferred with degrees spanning various disciplines such as Management, Law, Engineering, Design, Information Sciences, and Commerce.
