Mysuru: Yathindra, former MLA and son of CM Siddaramaiah, said that there is no need to clarify the viral video and allegation made against him by former CM Kumaraswamy.
The conversation is related to CSR funds and there is no need to clarify on it The JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy on Saturday alleged that an official's name mentioned in a phone conversation between chief minister Siddaramaiah and his son Yathindra has figured in the transfer list of police inspectors.
Yathindra said that he conversed with his father regarding CSR funds which was related to the education department in a viral video, but not about the transfer list of police inspectors, which was alleged by the former chief minister.
The former chief minister must talk with evidence before making allegations against the chief minister. He and his father never indulged in transfer and corruption. Moreover, I do not know about the police officer Vivekananda's transfer.
I knew only Vivekananda, who is now the block education officer for Mysuru rural which Varuna in his assembly segment had represented in the previous tenure.
"I often used to converse with my father regarding the development of the constituency. I even provided the list of development works to be taken up in the assembly segment. There is no need for clarification over such viral videos."
