Bengaluru: Bengaluru, the Garden City of India, is set to gain another major green lung space, similar to the iconic Lalbagh and Cubbon Park.

This ambitious project, envisioned under the Brand Bengaluru initiative, aims to transform a 150-acre plot near Yelahanka into a haven of lush greenery and natural beauty.

The BBMP's forest wing has already drafted a comprehensive plan for the new park, which will feature a diverse array of trees and medicinal plants.

The park will be designed to offer a unique experience for visitors, distinguishing it from the established grandeur of Cubbon Park and Lalbagh.

The proposal for the new park has been submitted to Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, who oversees Bengaluru's development. Upon approval, the BBMP will commence the development of this green oasis, providing Bengaluru with another cherished landmark of natural splendor.
