Presidency University Bengaluru marks 6th convocation

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Presidency University in the city held its 6th convocation ceremony on November 17 and 18 where more than 3,500 graduates were conferred with their degrees.

The ceremony honored 39 gold medalists and conferred doctoral degrees to 85 research scholars. Also, degrees were awarded to 3,684 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various disciplines.

Managing Director of Accenture Security, Rajat Dev Sehdev, graced the event as the chief guest. Congratulating the awardees, he urged the graduates to embrace life's lessons, emphasising humility and integrity.

"Dr Nissar and the Presidency University have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in education, and it is truly an honour to be a part of this celebration," he said.

The Vice Chancellor, Dr D Subhakar, delivered the annualrReport of the university while Dr Nissar Ahmed, Chancellor, Presidency University, administered oath to the graduating students.
