
CCB raids hotels and pub, woman rescued

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths conducted a raid at renowned private hotels and pubs in the city, police said on Sunday.
The raids were carried out based on credible information received in connection with a suspected prostitution racket being operated in Bengaluru.
During the raid at a place in Cubbon Park Police Station limits, the CCB officials rescued a woman while the suspects managed to flee the spot, sources from police added.
The CCB of ficials brought the woman to the jurisdictional police station for an inquiry. However there are several speculations regarding the recent raid.
It is being said that several pubs and hotels in the city still continue to run flesh trade in the garb of homecare and spa services. More details are yet to emerge.
