Bengaluru: The Bengaluru-Belagavi Vande Bharat trial run, conducted on November 21, marked a pivotal moment in railway connectivity. An 8-coach rake, originating from Chennai, undertook the trial journey from KSR Bengaluru to Belagavi and back, evaluating logistical efficiency.

Subsequently, the same rake was poised to launch the overnight Vande Bharat service, departing from Yeshwantpur at 11 pm and reaching Chennai at 4:30 am.

This move not only tested the route's viability but also introduced an efficient and convenient nocturnal travel option for passengers.

The anticipated success of the Bengaluru-Belagavi Vande Bharat service could set a precedent for further innovations in the nation's railway network, promising a more connected and accessible future.
