Bengaluru: In the recently published report, "The resilience of retail" by Cushman & Wakefield, Bengaluru's Brigade Road and Vittal Mallya Road have secured the 8th and 9th positions, respectively, in India's list of the most expensive markets for the year 2023.

These rankings reflect the cost and demand dynamics of retail spaces in these prominent Bengaluru locations.

Delhi's Khan Market, Connaught Place, and Gurugram's Galleria Market claimed the top three spots as the most expensive markets in the country. On a global scale, Khan Market secured the 22nd position, while Bengaluru's Brigade Road and Vittal Mallya Road secured the 41st and 42nd positions globally.

This recognition follows Bengaluru's MG Road previously topping the list of high streets in India, according to Knight Frank India's annual retail report. Bengaluru's strong representation in the top 10 high streets reaffirms its status as a hub for premium retail experiences, providing a diverse range of shopping options.

The city's retail landscape continues to evolve, with its markets gaining acknowledgement for delivering a superior shopping experience. The recognition in the Cushman & Wakefield report further underscores Bengaluru's resilience and prominence in the retail sector.
